Our story begins in 1976 when a young and ambitious 11-year-old, Mr. Mustapha Nizam, embarked on his journey as a barber in Jordan. It was there that he discovered his innate talent and developed an unwavering passion for the craft.
Mr. Nizam’s dedication and skill quickly caught the attention of the international hair styling community. In March 1987, he proudly represented his talent in a prestigious worldwide hair styling competition held in France. Demonstrating his exceptional talent, he emerged victorious, earning a Gold Medal and ranking an impressive 4th worldwide.

Undeterred by his initial success, Mr. Nizam continued to push his boundaries. In October 1987, just months after his triumph in France, he traveled to Egypt to participate in a competition specifically tailored for men and barbers. Once again, his outstanding abilities shone through, and he claimed yet another Gold Medal. In pursuit of new horizons and opportunities, Mr. Nizam embarked on a journey to Canada in 1989. Committed to his craft, he diligently obtained his Barber license in 1991, ensuring his skills met the highest standards of professionalism. In 1992, fueled by his dreams and a vision to create a barbershop like no other, he proudly established Nizam Barber, the premier destination for discerning individuals in Windsor.
